The Department of Geography, Mangaldai College has celebrate WED on 5th June, 2022 in an online mode. The head of the department Dr. Pabitra Kumar Nath has inaugurated the programme with a brief description on the importance of WED. Mr. Jyotishman Deka, Field Biologist, Manas Tiger Reserve has presented on the occasion about the All Indian Tiger Monitoring System. He explained about the different techniques of tiger population estimation in the country.
