Date: 3-12-2023 Venue: United Club, Mangaldai Time: 10 AM Coordinator Eco Club, Mangaldai College, Dr. Debashree Kakati, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, Mangaldai College, has acted as Resource Person in the “District Level Training Programme on Solid Waste Management and Vermicomposting” organised by the Pacific Unit, District Nodal Agency, ASTEC (Assam Science, Technology and Environment Council). She has trained more than 60 High School Teachers of Darrang District who have participated in the training. The training emphasises on the less use of plastic and other non biodegradable products, environmentally hazardous chemicals, reuse and recycling of the biodegradable wastes, importance of organic farming and skill development of students at school level.
