An academic exchange program on ‘Leadership Development’ was organised by the Department of Economics, Mangaldai College with Department of Economics and Department of Management, Mangaldai Commerce College on 20th Nov, 2023. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Hemanta Chakravarty, IQAC Coordinator & Head of the Management Department of Mangaldai Commerce College and was attended by 29 students of Economics Department of Mangaldai College along with faculties of both the institutions. Prabodh Sarma, Head of Economics Department, Mangaldai Commerce College delivered the welcome speech followed by a valuable lecture provided by Umesh Ch. Sarma, Assistant Professor of Economics, Mangaldai College regarding the importance of conducting such academic exchange program to boost the knowledge and skills of students. Dr. Dhiren Deka, resource person of the program, gave a detailed presentation on how to develop leadership qualities from an early stage and introduced the audience with some great leaders of the world from various fields. The necessity of developing leadership qualities among the students was also emphasised by Safi Ahmed, Assistant Professor of Economics Department, Mangaldai Commerce College. The program came to a successful end with the active participation of students and the vote of thanks was provided by Dreamly Sarmah, Assistant Professor of Economics, Mangaldai College.
