Department of Botany observed the ‘World Biodiversity Day, on 23rd May 2022, at the department with a lecture by Dr. Debashree Kakati, Asst. Professor, Department of Botany, Mangaldai College who highlighted the role of biotechnology in the biodiversity conservation. She explained how cutting-edge technology and advance research could help in bioremediation and recovering environmental population.
