Women Studies and Research Centre (WSRC) of Mangaldai College have conducted various workshops and training programmes on “Techniques of Self Defence” from time to time at the college campus. On 2023, the workshop named “Veerangana Programme” was held from 3rd October 2023 by WSRC in collaboration with IQAC, Mangaldai College. The participants were trained by Shihan Dhrubajyoti Sarma (Black Belt), Secretary Traditional Sotokan Karate-Do Association, Assam. The workshop empowered the participants with vital skills, confidence and strategies to protect themselves in various situations.
