A Plantation Drive was organised by IQAC, Mangaldai College, Mangaldai College Student Union Body, NSS, NCC, Assam Science Society Mangaldai Branch and Eco Club of Mangaldai College at Tangni Tea Garden Model School on 5th June 2022 on the occasion of World Environment Day. The Plantation Drive at the adopted school marked a significant step towards environmental sustainability and ecological restoration. In a concerted effort to enhance the school green cover, students and faculty participated enthusiastically in planting a diverse array of saplings across the campus. The event not only aimed at improving the aesthetic appeal of the school grounds but also served as a hands-on learning experience for the students, instilling in them a deep sense of environmental responsibility. 6 teachers and 24 students from the school participated in the event along with the faculties and students of Mangaldai College.
