On the occasion of World Environment Day 5th June 2022, a Cycle Rally was organised by IQAC, Mangaldai College, Mangaldai College Student Union Body, NSS, NCC, Assam Science Society Mangaldai Branch and Eco Club of Mangaldai College to raise awareness about about environmental conservation. The Cycle Rally proved to be a dynamic and engaging initiative to promote sustainable transportation and raise awareness about green initiative for limiting pollution. Cyclists from diverse backgrounds, including students, community members, and environmental enthusiasts, gathered to participate in the event. As participants peddled through the designated route adorned with banners advocating for environmental protection, the rally served as a visible and impactful statement in support of reducing carbon footprints. The event successfully combined physical activity with a powerful environmental message, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility for a greener and healthier future. About 40 participants took part in the rally.
