Mangaldai College NCC Coy (under 73 Assam Girls (I) Coy NCC, Tezpur) have embarked on meaningful visits to Kartik Chandra Baruah Old Age Home on 9th August 2022 and 05th November 2022, demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility and community service. The cadets engaged in various activities to uplift the spirits of the elderly residents, including interactive sessions, cultural performances, and distributing essential supplies. This compassionate initiative fostered a sense of companionship and also allowed the cadets to gain valuable insights into the experiences and wisdom of the elderly. The visit to the old age home by NCC cadets served as a heartwarming example of intergenerational bonding and emphasised the importance of acknowledging and honouring the elderly members of our society.
