Students of Mangaldai College may join NCC (SD for Boys & SW for Girls). Students get opportunity to appear in NCC “B” certificate exam., and NCC “C” certificate exam., in two years. The cadets are also entitled to apply for Sahara Scholarship of fifteen thousand rupees. Best cadet scholarship etc., with 55% marks in Arts and 60% in Science H.S.L.C. or 10+2. Those willing to join NCC must apply separately to the respective wings after admission.

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)
A Student of Mangaldai College may join in NSS. Which gives an opportunity to develop his/her personality and shapes his/her attitude towards life. Since the year of inception in 1972, this organization has undertaken several social projects and completed them successfully. Students willing to opt for NSS may contact the Professor in Charge of it.
