Enigmax 2024, celebrated on the occasion of National Technology Day, aimed to amplify the significance of technological innovation and prowess by providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and expertise in various technological domains. Through a series of competitions and challenges, the event underscored the importance of embracing technology as a catalyst for pro~ess and development. By coinciding with National Technology Day, Enigmax 2024 sought to commemorate India's �achieveme(lts in the field of science and technology while inspiring the next generation ofinnovators to push the boundaries of possibility and chart new frontiers in technological advancement.
The Parent Teacher Meet was held on 10th May at 1.30 PM through Google Meet.
Department of Economics, Mangaldai College organised a field survey for partial fulfilment of 2nd semester SEC course “Farm Management” on 10th May, 2024. The field survey was conducted in four different locations of the Darrang district which include Tongani Tea Estate, Balugaon Vegetable Market, Orang National Park and Kopati Village agricultural field. The survey which was conducted by around 80 students, started with the visit to Tongani Tea Estate where students collected information on different socio-economic parameters like employment, annual production, sell and export, ratio of male-female workers etc. Students also witnessed the tea manufacturing process in the tea eatate. After that, students went to the Balugaon vegetable market and investigated the prices of different vegetables from the street vendors. Students also visited Orang National Park and enquired about eco-tourism opportunities in the area. At the end of the survey, students went to the agricultural fields of Kopati village where they learned lots of ground level information regarding cultivation and harvesting process of rice, maize and taro. The survey was conducted under the supervision of faculties of the Department of Economics, Mangaldai College.

The World Sparrow Day was organized by the Department of Zoology at Mangaldai College on 20.03.2024 to foster awareness and a sense of connection towards the sparrow.

On 09-03-2024 a Community Service activity was conducted at the" KASTURI SISHU GRIHA " situated at Salaipara , Mangaldai by the Dept. of Education, Mangaldai College, Mangaldai. The activity was conducted by the students of 4th and 6th semester (Honours Course) with the two teacher guides Dr. Usha Rani Deka ( HOD) , and Jyotipriya Saikia ( Contractual teacher) . The programme was graced by Rashmi Rekha Sarma, Superintendent of Kasturi Sishu Griha , Mangaldai. Total number of 11 children along with the employees of the Sishu Griha were felicitated by the students of Department of Education and distributed packet lunch, paper, pencil, scale and eraser also among the children of the Sishu Griha also.
